Wow, I found this pretty late - but I hope by now it's all settling in Cade and that your new super-hips do what we all hope they do.

I personally also hope that they enable you to magnetically attach to the side of buildings and become some new, clankier Spiderman, but the walking is just as satisfying.

Thanks to everyone. Seriously, wow. That turnout is fucking amazing and I've only been able to read it now.

The surgery went really, really well - the whole thing is a blur. Its true that when I was put on Pethadine, it turned out I was allergic to it, but my mind was clouded by the big comedown of a general Anesthetic that I barely remember it. I was on morphine, and I was actually put on a dosage that made me start actung really weirdly. I was talking about my "pakistani leg"and that we should "put a landmine in my bed." My heartrate rose steeply, and I stopped breathing several times. Basically, I was slipping into a sleep/coma and they had to stop that, so they plugged me with an anti-morphine drug and I went without painkillers for over half an hour. That wasn't too fun, and I'm probably going to remember that for the rest of my life. It must have been rather scary for my parents.

I walked again, yesterday, with a walking frame. Today, I'm having lunch at a coffee shop downstairs. Which is pretty weird considering the actual surgery. I've also been 'stretched' over 5-7 cms taller than what I was previously, which makes me look a lot more in proportion. I can't feel my hips anymore, either. A lot of the pain I feel now will slowly fade away into nothing. Its a relieving thought.

Besides those several bad moments, this whole thing has gone well - really well. Better than expected. My pain level decreases significantly every day, and I can move my legs by myself at the moment. Also, I have a set of parellel scars on my legs that run down my hips, which looks SUPER weird, but I haven't been bleeding profusely, which was surprising. Overall, I don't think this could have gone better.

Once again, thanks to everyone who posted it really means a lot to me, and I'll make it up to you all, somehow. I promise. In the meantime,
