I have actually enjoyed a few of the albums Compcat has posted and I dunno about that decision but it isn't my forum so that's not for me to say or bring up so that's all I have to say on the matter

I think it's a shame Compcat's apparently leaving as he could have prevented this all himself by not being a defiant idiot who will carry on arguing the most ridiculous points because of pride. That's why this argument is getting NOWHERE. Seriously, people respond to him and he then brings up another post littered with debatable points. This topic is going nowhere and we should smother it with an e-pillow.

Put this topic out of it's misery. Put Compcat out of his misery.

I'm a small, petty man.

EDIT: Plus I don't really want ticking dramabombs with extreme/crazy views on my illegal filesharing forum.

I really don't like comments like this. It's such a "Heeey buddy, he sure is dum am i rite? high5 high5 "

Give credit where credit is due - At least this guy knows how to seperate paragraphs.. these things have gotten really ugly in the past without that special talent.

I would like to type out a multi-pager explaining everything that is flawed about your perception of race, genetics, and social patterns, Compcat, but two things stop me:

First, you're fifteen. You have no real-world experience and your opinions are being drawn from uninformed speculation. Yeah, I thought anarchy and hardline, contemptuous atheism were cool when I was your age, too. I also know that you're automatically going to reject any notion that you aren't capable of debating intelligently and effectively just because you're young, but sorry, this actually does negate most of your credibility right off the bat. You don't have an informed perspective on the world. You're just looking for hardline, absolutist statements and solutions because shit is goddamned confusing and easy answers are seductive. We were all this age at one time, and most of us went through a stage like this. When you grow up, the knowledge that you held most of these beliefs will embarrass the hell out of you. With any luck.

Secondly, and more importantly, your posts in this thread are peppered with a lot of prejudiced thinking, dangerous assumptions, and narrowminded conclusions. You start with assumptions that preclude empathy, thoughtful consideration, alternate perspectives. You have decided that genetics play such a vital role in the development of human beings and their respective civilizations that certain things simply should not be done. As soon as you refuse to accept a social paradigm with no other justification than "it's wrong", you have lost the debate. As soon as you make automatic, absolutist assumptions about a group of people based on their one common characterstic, you have forgone the possibility of open discussion. A debate would be fruitless until you are willing to consider possibilities other than the absolutist conclusions that you're already drawn with your fifteen years of experience which, to your mind, flawlessy represent reality.

look at Wolfmother..... avant garde prog rock rules.

where as Mars Volta kinda suck. (haven't checked out new album yet, though)

It does NOT prove the existance of a creator, you totally missed the point. We were talking about the subject/object problem.
The existance of GOD canNOT be proven, nor can it be disproven. Because Existence is not a Predicate.

First off, where are you getting this from? Secondly, "The explanation, of course, is not the same as the actual living (or the biological process itself). It is in a different logical domain." What evidence does the writer use to conclude this?

What evidence?....The Evidence is that everyone can come up with some weird theory on how the world works. Its also very evident that YOU dont know what you are talking about.
