How can I combine props into one expansion?

I have a selection of props that I would like to group together.

Does anyone know how to do this?

1. It's not normally a good idea to do this
2. Use the appendinator thing.

Don't. It kinda defeats the purpose of v3dmm.

Does it?

I've got a few props that make up a character.

Arms, legs, torso etc.

It would be easyer if it was all in one vxp.

Even if they are useless on their own, how would it be easier in one vxp? You just have to add them to your movie once.

It would be easier because it's one prop, meaning he could animate it, copy it, and change what it is while retaining the animation he did on it. As multiple props, this would not work.

Do you mean he'd rather put them all into one MODEL or EXPANSION? If it's model, combine them using Milkshape or something and do the animating there, if it's expansion then no just keep them separate and animate it like any other HMC.

--OH I get what Aaron's saying, you want an effect similar to what the fonts are capable of. I think what you can do is mess with it in a way that when you change the costume, you change the prop that appears. This way you can animate, copy, change the shape and the animation stays how it is. I know it's possible because you can add hats and guns to standard 3dmm characters, someone just needs to show you the Pencil magic necessary

I did mean just lots of props in one vxp.

The thing was I wanted to make one or two characters, that may be reused.

If they all have 20 or so parts, I just though it would be a bit anoting.

I got around it by just naming them "NAME - BODY PART" that way they are listed next to each other in v3dmm and I can highlight them all together.
