Art request!! All who can help, DO SO.

I am in need of a logo for my live-action movie company, which I've affectionately named Frozen Seesaw Productions. In creating the website, I realized I have no sort of logo. This is not professional, and may result in people writing me horrible letters, which will cause me to have a nervous breakdown and probably kill somebody. Maybe even... ONE OF YOU. So for your own sakes, please help me out and make me some sort of logo. I'll give you credit on the site. Maybe.

Yeah, definitely.

Attempting a simple Maya animation you could use as a video logo on your projects.

yeah, do that. a seesaw freezing mid-saw would pretty much be the ideal solution, no?

The logo at the end (it zooms out a bit further than that). It's done, but I'm not sure if I can render on this computer. Might have to upload the Maya file and render it over at Travis's.

If you'd like, I could have icicles form and hang off of them/the seesaw, but it'll take a bit longer.

Before they're frozen. The models are ridiculously simple, but with the almost pastel-like look of the shading and lighting, it felt kind of appropriate. I could add arms, but I really didn't think they were necessary.

The camera slowly zooms in and down and tilts upward as they seesaw.

What I had actually imagined, and tell me if this is possible, is to have a wooden seesaw (tipped this way, for reference: \ ) , and to have the ice sort of move up the right side, a bunch of icicles form at the other end, and it tips down to where the icicles touch the ground, and the seesaw is level.

While maya would be kickass, I've seen you're proficient enough in v3dmm to pull it off. Either way, thanks a ton for what you've done, and sorry if I just completely negated a few hours work (actually, I'd love to see what you have).

No. Fuck all that. Right now all I need is a graphic for a website. I'll worry about an animation later, though what I see of yours actually looks pretty cool, aaron. Either way, just a graphic for now. The top image would work great, though you're right, icicles would be appreciated.

I'll render out to a smaller resolution and edit it together with a full logo in Pinnacle. Shouldn't take too long (and the logo-making practice was worth it even if you don't use it).

The problem with using v3dmm is that the absolute highest resolution you could have it at is 544x306. Any higher and pixelation would become apparent. It would take a good bit of cropping work on each frame to make it high enough res to look good on video. Still, it might be possible. I'll give it a try, but it might not be tonight.

Ahh, ok. In that case, I'll fix up the logo image. Hang on.

I still have the .mb file, so I can play around with the lighting if you'd like.

Kayl's is the closest to a professional logo that a graphic designer would make. Aaron's got better when he scrapped the background and made it more of a symbol rather than a picture.

I didn't really scrap anything. The one with the background is part of an animated logo I was doing, which turns into a more symbol-like logo at the end. He said he was doing this for movies, so I thought he might like a short animated logo.

Played with Aaron's a little bit. Deleted the saw part on accident in paint. Too lazy to put it back.
