My Photography Megathread (dialup beware)

So, uh, yeah. Basically I like to take pictures, and I think I have taken some good ones among all the shitty ones. So I figured I'd post these. I belive I have most of these in up to 1024x800 or above. all the ones towards the end i have 2048x1536 versions of all those, so if you want bigger, just ask. Anyway, here goes. I like to think they get better as you go on. The beginning ones were taken last summer, and they go up till just last weekend. Constructive critisism welcome and appreciated.

The first few are taken with a shitty Kodak camera, then a few are using a Fuji Finepix camera, and then the majority of the last ones were taken with my Canon Powershot A75. (THERE WILL BE ABOUT 8 POSTS, SO BE WEARY)

This would look really awesome if you edited in a regular photographed character over the blurred one.

A lot of others here look like they'd make some pretty cool album art

How did you make the blue/white light in that one that Gorosaurus just quoted, and the other one?

I used a little handheld flourecent light thing, and the long exposure settings on my camera.

Of course you had to use the exposure, heh.

Instead of the light you were using, do you think something like a flashlight would work nicely?

There's a lot of cool pictures there.
I liked these ones:

What lake(s) are those?

Hahah, cool.

We went there for a field trip once. It's like.. the Minnesota state capitol building or something, right?

There's a grand total of 4 pictures that don't suck in your huge post.

Wow beh beh, tone it down a bit. Quite a few of those images feel way to "pictures from my vacation/adventure" ish, as compared to STYLISH. Some of them are really sweet though, like the silohoutte of the guy on the swing, the one night picture where everything is almost sepia toned would be super deadly if it wasn't blurry/overexposed, and the mirrored horizon on the water are actually interesting and appealing.

A lot of your extended exposed light things are pretty much just jibberish, though the stop sign/middle finger and the white wings/crazy patterns are a great effect, and turned out very well.

But yeah, most of them are just... average photos. The exposer and contrast on them are well handled, but sometimes they're slanted in a way that makes them look like you were drunk taking them, or just didn't care.

So yes, some incredible photos amidst a pile of not.
