Construction pays really well, but my friend said that summer days are the worst for that occupation. You drink tons of water, and it stays in you all day long as you work... then you piss it out all at once and it stings like hell. Ugh.

It is quite badass. the only downside that i've found so far is the harsh amount of cement powder that im breathing in and getting covered in every day. they give you one of those crappy white disposable respirators to cover your mouth but it doesnt seem to work that well. the companys a bit jewish when it comes to equipment. you've got to buy your own coveralls and if you want to get one of those tight gas mask respirator type things, youve otta fork out your own cash for that, as well.

Oh those things are fuckin terrible! I was on set for the shooting of a Canadian movie, and the basement we shot in was really dirty and we were all given masks, but those masks were awful. Those things are just not comfortable at all to breath in at all, and after a while your breath stinks bad too.

But for the sake of your health though, it's worth forking out the extra cash to buy the better one. For this kind of job, you should see a doctor once in a while...cuz hey, healthcare's free! Take advantage of it!
