Updated list:

41. Jon Stewart
42. Flip Wilson
43. Dave Chappelle
44. Joan Rivers
45. Richard Lewis
46. Adam Sandler
47. Henny Youngman
48. Tim Allen
49. Freddie Prinze
50. Denis Leary
51. Lewis Black
52. Damon Wayans
53. David Brenner
54. DL Hughley
55. Alan King
56. Colin Quinn
57. Richard Jeni
58. Larry Miller
59. Gilbert Gottfried
60. Jeff Foxworthy

This is CRAP, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle and Denis Leary should all be top 20 for sure...maybe not Chappelle but I thought he would cause he's got his own show on CC.

I'm thinking there are going to be a lot of old school comedians in the top 20

WORST LIST EVER.

Has anyone ever heard Tim Allens stand up? I thought it would be funny because Home Improvement makes me laugh... but Tim Allens stand up is some of the worst stand up ever.

And Jeff Foxworthy at #60? The best selling, and most successful comedian of all time... #60? How is it even possible that he is not in the top 10?

Cause he's pretty much a one note comedian, that gets old quickly

I disagree, have you see Blue Collar Comedy Tour? It's really funny, and only a tiny portion of his act was 'you might be a redneck' stuff.

Also, does anyone think Bill Mahr will be on the list? I know he does standup, but I think we would have seen him by now if he was on there. I wouldn't consider him in the top 25, but I love his new show on HBO.

I'm not saying that I think he's all that great. But it's hard to deny that he has millions of fans who keep buying his dvd's and going to his shows.

Meh, I guess that's a stuid argument though, cause a lot of people go to limp bizkit concerts, but that doesn't make them suck any less. Whatever, I'm not a big Jeff Foxworthy fan anways, I just find it odd that he is so far down.

And yes, the Blue Collar comedy tour is pretty damn funny, except Bill Engval, whom I dont like.

I haven't seen Blue Comedy Tour, but all the Foxworthy stuff I've seen is pretty funny, and I know it's not all you might be a redneck, but it's almost all reckneck type jokes.

Like Margaret Cho (who better not be in the top 20) where she pretty much just does asian jokes. And Chappelle who just does black jokes.

And I thought of Bill Mahr too, he's alright but I hope he doesn't make the list, but if so I'm hoping for #40

She might get a pretty good spot.

Gilbert Gottfried?

Okay, I'm going to be pissed if he's on the list and Bob Saget isn't. Saget better be on there somewhere.

21. Dennis Miller
22. Robert Klein
23. Steven Wright
24. Redd Foxx
25. Bob Hope
26. Ray Romano
27. Jay Leno
28. Jack Benny
29. Milton Berle
30. Garry Shandling
31. George Burns
32. Albert Brooks
33. Andy Kaufman
34. Buddy Hackett
35. Phyllis Diller
36. Jim Carrey
37. Martin Lawrence
38. Bill Maher
39. Billy Crystal
40. Mort Sahl

Some really good choices there, although I forgot about Bob Hope and George Burns, I thought they'd be top 10. So many greats named already, the top 20 might be kinda weak

Well I am glad that Steven Wright got some recognition. He rules.

Redd Skelton could be in the top 5, now that I think about it.

I don't like that show too much, the "dinner conversation" just makes it so awkward to watch and it kills the funny.

No way. Eddie Izzard sucks ass.

Well, he might be funny, but I dont understand his jokes cause he's always like:
"So in 1947, when the proletraiat ceased their congressional attack on Bacelona's officials, I thought to myself... It's about time they got a taste of their own medicine!"

* Crowd Laughs. *
