an indie dev that I had a ton of respect for is now working on a game that, best as I can tell, is just NFTs and no actual game, and is like, making fun of people for buying lootboxes because it's the same thing (it's not) and

well

"had" a lot of respect for

I feel like he's subscribed to a lot more worse shit than NFTs.

What's this BTC crap about?

I don’t understand people are selling digital tokens that are easily reproduced to claim ownership of. Is there anybody here for this because I’d be interested to hear their take on it, people are actually spending their beer money on these and it just seems like a total scam?

It doesn't even physically exist like gold. 2009 is gonna be a great year

It could make more beer money. I buy twice a month to offset inflation

NFTs might currently be in a bubble but I think it's here to stay. The concept will seem less crazy once it is adopted more. And the problems being pointed out will become irrelevant as the tech improves. The reaction from people reminds me of when btc was new

With how many hipster IPAs I see on the shelves at the beer store, it might as well be NFTs!

beer goes off however wine or any spirit isn't a bad thing to keep for a long time.
You need to store wine bottles sideways though or they also go bad
