No, beyond the smell which I'm far less concerned about, it physically feels gross and uncomfortable. You can feel the layer of filth on your body. Your butt starts to get itchy. Your hair, if you have any, becomes greasy. And on and on. At best you'll probably end up with jock itch too which is debilitating if you need to walk any long distance. About 3 days is the max I can tolerate without bathing in some form.

Winter where? In the southern USA, it's temperate most of the year. Same goes for a lot of equatorial areas. Further north would be a problem for Americans and Europeans alike, though I imagine Scandinavians and Slavs are used to it already. Shit, even Americans who see feet of snow at a time are primed for this sort of thing. Basically a contingent of Western weaklings would suffer and probably die, and the post-apocalyptic world would be better for it. We'd return to survival of the fittest, which we've artificially derailed through technology and other advancements.
