Any places that shut down due to covid and makes you a very sad panda??

I'm overall saddened by the death of buffets in my city. I used to love sweet tomato's. Also there was this amazing Mongolian bbq buffet nearby that shut down last week. Any of you guys lose any great places you used to visit?

For my city, no. There were some places that shut down here from covid though.

There was also this tim hortons that was previously a KFC, then they painted the big bucket into a coffee cup. A storm recently knocked that cup down and it's gone

Nothing has been shut down here for months. All of the local Pizza Huts closed shortly after the pandemic, however, and now I'd have to drive 30-40 minutes for one, versus 15 minutes before. It's weird but my theory is that certain fast food restaurants are considered low class - by who, I don't know - and, as a result, they slowly get bumped out of my general area, which is wealthy and being developed more and more each year, to poorer areas. Burger King was one of the first places to disappear. They're only in low income areas now. Same with Pizza Hut and Arby's, and I'm sure some other chains. We're left with Domino's, Papa John's, McDonald's, Wendy's, and Chickfila, mostly. Taco Bell used to be in the "poor" category but they've been coming back so they must have somehow earned a better public perception.

Indie Arcade / Bar that I helped start has been uhhhh struggling, after opening less than a year pre-covid

I fear that it will not survive another covid wave. Omicron is really shaking up New York right now

Some of the old pubs have struggled a lot but the clever ones took that time to redecorate and refit another lockdown would finish them tho i bet

They replaced my favorite Asian snack store with an automatic coffee shop.
