well if you find an easier way that works for your computer then that's fine too I suppose, but this method (supposedly) is universal and gives you a pretty good-quality result.

My way to keep sound in sync with the movie is to simply just fine-tune it in Sony Vegas. It saves me from the trouble of repeating playback in 3DMM when fine-tuning movies.

You've never made a movie over 10 minutes long. This doesn't apply to you. And even if the movie WERE out of sync, that might make it at least unintentionally entertaining.

Problem

In Camstudio, when I click on "Record Audio from Speakers", it gives me an error that says "WaveoutGetSelectControl() failed." And when I record, it records audio from my microphone. Any help out there?

NOTE: The reason why the audio is a bit fucked up, its because
the original audio master was a bit slow & low pitched a bit... so i
changed the pitch in Audacity to make it sound like the actual film

Sorry for that...

yeah and especially pointless threads like these, foolish pathetic move making a 3dmm flick longer than 3 mins in 2021, especially if you're an adult who could be benefitting his own personal life instead with real hobbies that ppl will take seriously, them months of effort can be spent much wiser, and be much more appreciated. If you're an adult reading this who has flirted with the idea of returning to 3dmm, don't

Yeah I’m only making 3dmm flicks to get a nice dopamine fix but if only some people are commenting on my work feeding me praise and not everybody then I don’t see the point in continuing.

i cant tell if you’re trying to ridicule me here but its really not about wanting to be praised by everybody, its more just expecting newer users to bother watching / old members who always cry about 3dmm being shit now etc.

they’ll pop in to cry about how much a waste of time the latest noob flick is, but best believe they arent gonna fuckin bother watching something like Renegades etc

The lengths people went through to record shit on their screen before OBS came around (FRAPS/Bandicam/HyperCam were horrible)

No I can't say I'd applaud someone for figuring out how to record their screen in 2007
