Lets break it down:

here's what you get....
Animal Crossing online: I don't play this dumb shit, it's for babies

Smash Bros online: This might be worth it if you are a serious Smash Bros person. I like smash bros but i don't play often enough to justify needing online play.

SNES + NES + N64: You can easily emulate all of these on your PC for the low, low price of 0$

Pacman 99: farrrrrrt

Save data cloud: who the fuck cares

Smartphone app: why would you ever need this

"Special offers": aka we're just trying to think of extra crap we can claim exists

Overall: Not Worth It. I really, really fucking hate this trend where every console requires you to pay a yearly fee just to own the fucking console. You can thank XBox 360 for this god awful reprehensible trend. Thanks a lot, Xbox consoomers, for proving this is a marketable concept. You forced the entire game industry to sink down to your cretinous level. For a while it seemed like Nintendo would take the high road but I guess they saw free money on the table and decided to take it from the Bowns of the world.

Overall I fucking hate the Switch as a console. There's a few good games for it (Smash bros, Breath of the Wild, Metroid Dread.... actually that's about it) but as a console it's a piece of trash. First of all, why the fuck does the handheld have to be charged before I can even play the game on my TV. Also, I hate handheld devices. I have literally never once used it in its handheld form, nor do I ever want to. I guess it's probably good if you're a little kid, but I'm a grown man. Where the hell would I even bring it? Imagine taking a video game handheld to my job cutting trees in the woods

The whole construction is extremely rickety and delicate, all it takes is one good jostle for the handheld piece of shit to fall out and break itself. The whole thing just feels cheap and plastic-y. The "joycons" are possibly the worst controllers ive ever seen for any system. Somehow they managed to make an even worse controller than the Wiimote, which itself was somehow even worse than the freakish, fucked up N64 controller. I hate the little chips that the games use, they are SO easy to lose. It's so easy to imagine a little kid losing these left and right, it's like keeping track of 1 individual lego piece. And then blam, you've lost a 60$ game.

It's too bad because Nintendo can develop some good games when they put their minds to it. But every console they make is just some ugly gimmick that wears out its welcome within 3 days of owning it. I wish they would juts focus their efforts on making a game system that just plays games.

im a pc guy now. used to be big on nintendo. i wont support their decisions. but whatever. theyre worth a billion dollars and im only one tiny dollar giver, err i mean consumer, err i mean person

I hardly ever use my Switch it’s like at least every year and a half a really good game will come out only for the Switch I play it, it’s great then finish it and never use it until the next one.
