3D Pixel Art.

I was making pixel-art for a project and I had to do a little bit of something that isn't possible with 2D (For amateurs like me.) I then decided on using 3D animation.

To start, I made this little model in Anim8or (late 90's modeling program) and traced it.

And here is the result.

It doesn't resemble the model but it is 3D at least.

I suggest using a pixel art shader in Blender. I experimented with this back in the day, and I think it worked out pretty well. Although I don't know if this particular script works anymore.

If you want to make 3d-looking Pixel Art, try experimenting with Isometric Grids. They make it easier to build the dimensions you want.

Here's the model, note the reused quake mesh.

Hmm, as it's Pixel Art, I'd also recommend working in a smaller res.
