So I got my pupils dilated

And everything looks so weird and blurry. This was my first time having this done to me and it's all so strange. I'm having trouble looking at things up close, it's almost like my eyes can't focus even though I'm nearsighted, not farsighted. Every light feels blinding, especially when I'm outside. At least this will wear off in a few hours.

uh what, what kinda procedure requires you to manually dilate your pupils to an even more uncomfortable state

Ah, I think you misunderstood what I meant. I forgot to mention that at the eye doctor they basically put these weird eyedrops that caused my eyes to dilate.

It's just easier for the Dr. to look inside your eyeball and check for scary stuff.

Update: my pupils are now back at their original size. Now any sort of light won't look absurdly bright to me anymore.
