While I enjoyed the plot, I think you should get better at the program before you release another movie. Maybe try working on building custom scenes and not having to rely on the pre-made ones. The blood effects indicate that you at least have a sense of how animation works, so yeah, I think your next goal should be custom scenery. You also should spend more time on your next movie. This one could have been made in five minutes.

This actually shows improvement, animation-wise. I mean it’s still pretty base level, but it looks like you at least tried. Experiment with 3dmm, take apart old movies and find out how they made them. Keep improving.

I'll take care of it
Btw you most certainly have potential (dragging props frame-by-frame, using 3d fonts as props, etc)

Hahaha the movies have been so bad recently to the point where this is what we’re complimenting people here for

I really wish 3DMM quality control was a thing. Screw "keeping traditions alive", it's unbearable to watch the movies section. What happened to the people who wanted to keep 3DMM pure and good? Did they all leave and let this place rot because they couldn't fix it? Wouldn't the actual 3DMM tradition be to keep the movies section fresh and nice? In the 2000s, really bad movies weren't removed, but that was because they were vastly outnumbered by good movies. Now, bad movies are covering up the few golden movies that are actually released. It sucks.

That's basically exactly what happened, sans the "couldn't fix it" part.

It has been 212 days since 3dmmer Plopilpy has released a movie (or, a little over 5,000 hours).

I highly suggest using the vote system going forward. Be your own filter. Quality control can't be up to moderator discretion.
Also, try and contribute more. If you don't like seeing bad quality movies, make good ones. If the bar for quality is at an all time low, put something out! Put anything out!

yes, i’d say that logic is pretty sound.
clearly aimed towards dasarath and not you btw Dustin if thats what you’re taking from that. i’m more complaining about the noobs who cry about the quality of films whilst not releasing any themselves.

Not wanting to make movies doesn't mean you don't want to see good ones made.

This is a dead argument, tried to be used for decades now.

as i said in the spoiler, that comment is aimed towards the new members who say it about other new members movies but don’t bother to contribute to the “good” movies coming out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, these noobs are actively working on movies. As far as I know they've all just finished exams and months of preparing for said exams. Give them some time to chill, I'm sure they'll surprise you soon enough!
