Maltby was before my time, really. I don't remember who made it, but it was around 2005 or so.

If I had to guess, I'd say Demented Ferret, Wookieman, or some other animal-themed poster made them. I was envious of the "first round" of Christmas avatars, so jumped at the second chance.

Replying to my awful self, I found this image of Calvin with the "Transmorgifier Gun" or as I call it, a Luger.

I added some tweaks to it and made this Avatar.
