People don't mind Smarties, but no one is willingly going out to buy them. You get them in variety packs or whatever.

Smarties are like discount M&Ms. They're nice if you have nothing else, but if I have M&Ms there's no way I'm gonna choose Smarties.

McDonalds replaced the M&Ms with crushed Smarties here in Canada. I actually have to say its a significant upgrade because they're softer.

Haha yeah, I was surprised when I was 7 years old and staring at a pack of "Smarties" that I got for halloween. I was confused on how these two candies were named the same thing.

i'm assuming those are basically the same as those love heart candies with the lil messages on them, they at least have the same look and packaging as they do here in the UK

smarties are basically chocolate M&Ms with the occasional orange chocolate one thrown in (until Nestlé were like fuck it and started also selling them individually). I personally prefer the taste of smarties but M&Ms obviously have waaaayyyyyyy more variety to enjoy.
