Why you shouldn't say "retard"

RETARDED IS AN OUTDATED SLUR USED BY HATE GROUPS AND OBESE GAMERS!!!!!!
Reasons you shouldn't say it:
1. 99% of people who say retard are retarded.
2. Retard sounds like tar and everyone knows tar doesn't taste good.
3. For every time you say retard your IQ gets lowered by 0.3 points.
4. Retards are too swagger for your inappropriate language.
5. Coming out as a retard to your parents can be tough so its best to not say it as much to show them its ok to be a retard.
6. Being a retard is not a choice, you have to understand this.
7. People who identify as a 'retard' should put it in their twitter bio.
8. Retards have the pronouns "Idiot" and "Moron", please use it instead of this nasty slur.

I use it frequently. I know that it's offensive to retarded people, the same way that using words like gay/fag are. I guess I just don't give a shit. Whatever the current word is will eventually be deemed offensive too and replaced with something else, like a snake eating its own tail. It will never end. For any of these words.

I don't even associate the word retard with the mentally disabled, to me it's a harsher way to describe a genuine moron making bafflingly stupid decisions. It's like when you call someone a cunt, you're not comparing them to a literal vagina, you're just using a more shocking term because in this case calling them a "dick" or an "asshole" would be just too nice.
