(RE-THREAD) i'm trying to make a mod but the textures aren't working

1. haha, I see you have windowblinds

2. You gotta do this:

First, go to the groups tab and say "Edit Materials". Then make a new material. Then, select this tool.

After that, highlight the wireframe in the top left. It should become completely red.
Then, go to the groups tab again and say "Edit Groups". Make a new group, and select the texture in the bottom right.

but this model has different parts and when i add a texture on it covers the whole model

Make a blank canvas in Paint or whatever image editing program that you use. It should be very large so that you can fit everything on it.

Then paste each different texture onto the canvas until they're all on there.

After that, you gotta import the texture, then texture the model and it should look all weird. Then go into groups and say "Edit Texture Coordinates". Then use the selection tools in the top left and select different parts of the model.

Then use the "Size" and "Scale" tools to position the wireframe to each part of the texture.

Do this for each part of the model until they all look good.

Then do your animations if you want, etc.

how do you import textures?

Your supposed to set all the groups to the main texture if I recall correctly.
