The collective face of the new normal. Vaccinated and permanently smiling, your internal pain buried deep beneath your paralyzed muscles

If that's worldwide or America as a whole, that's really not a lot. And I'm fairly certain most of them had serious health conditions. It's a shame either way, but no reason for kids and teens to be worrying.

I mean uh long term health impacts from having covid are a pretty reasonable thing to worry about ?

Yeah, if you were already vulnerable when you caught it. Otherwise, you'll be alright.

Feel free to prove me wrong. Hit me with a link that says "The majority of healthy people suffer long term effects from covid-19".

I'm personally not feeling anything yet, but maybe I'm just a super rare case.. Along with my partner, her mother and all their other hospital buddies.

Feel free to worry if you're old, morbidly obese or have underlying health issues though.

Edit: I'll do it for you!

https://www.who.int/docs/default-sou...rsn=5d3789a6_2
  • COVID-19 can sometimes result in prolonged illness, even in young adults and children without underlying chronic medical conditions.
  • Among those 18 to 34 years in good health, 20% (1 in 5) reported that some symptoms
  • were prolonged.
... Confirmed by the same people who said that lock downs would work, and that it'd take a few weeks to "slow the spread" -- almost a year ago.

Meanwhile, there's conflicting science on both sides.

I'll continue wearing my mask to protect the sick and elderly, whilst fucking up my immune system for the next virus that hits. But I sure as shit won't be taking a vaccine for a virus that has a 98.5% survival rate.

Plop, don't post things unless you actually read them. It's embarrassing enough that it's fact checkers you posted. There are multiple links in that link suggesting the few young people who have died had issues with their nervous systems/cell receptors - which literally makes you prone to almost everything. They've also stated the small number of "healthy" youths dying is unusual because they can't quite place why.. It's probably because they've got issues that haven't been medically diagnosed (but it's easier to ignore this to create fear in media). How often do doctors get it wrong and miss something entirely? How often do they misdiagnose someone with cancer? Heart issues? A lot lmao.

It's also better for hospitals to mark death certificates as covid-19, more $$$.

Let's also not forget the other link showing this:

The majority have underlying health issues.. But wait! One boy, a 13 year old from a family originating from a country where it's common to marry family members, died after getting the virus. Pretty sure decades of cousin poking will weaken the family tree.

He also died of cardiac arrest. It's likely that the fever caused this and killed him (which happens with flu). Most children who have health issues/weak immune systems die to the fever caused by covid - though it's mostly seizures due to temperature fluctuations, their bodies aren't able to cope with the sudden rise or drop in body heat.

Again, it's a shame he died so young, but this is just more misleading bullshit used to scare easily scared people.

It’s not just about dying or not. It’s about overloading health care systems, stopping the spread in general (obviously a vaccine + mask is much more effective than a mask alone), etc

We never did overload the healthcare systems though, did we? The Nightingale hospitals were never used in the UK. Can't same the same for elsewhere though.. Many claims of hospitals being "half empty", but there's no real proof to that.

Poppycock is a fun word, and it accurately describes this year.

virus has a 98.5% survival rate if you have no underlying health conditions, cool!
1/5 of young, healthy people who get it now have underlying health conditions for the next fuckin sars or swine flu or bird flu or covid that pops up, cool!

wow shit it's like locking things down to limit the spread was actually a good idea????????

also lots of hospitals in the US are currently at/over capacity while also being understaffed so uh
yeah

"Hi, I'm Lord Blazer and I'm scared because the media told me to be and regurgitate their facts - which continue to be debunked. So uh, yeah!"

Lockdowns done nothing, the virus continued to spread at a lesser rate than they initially expected - they just over-estimated the number of deaths. Meanwhile, businesses fail, the economy crumbles and the suicide rate skyrockets. What a crock of shit. Live in fear all you want, I won't change your mind! Either way, you are already fucked for the next virus that hits thanks to lockdowns and mask mandates.

Hopefully the next virus that hits doesn't result in Goats, Fruit and Coca Cola testing "positive".

There's now a third strain of Covid-19 in the UK (from South Africa). Take your pick, folks!

I wonder if something special happens when you reach 19 strains.

Hold on, maybe that's the cure!

This shit is so fucking annoying. Maybe it would be better to contract the virus and die in a hospital than to listen to another day of bullshit about masks or the stimulus bill, or watch another television show that now uses the webcam format like it's normal.
