It is incredible just how awful NFC East is. I’m an Eagles fan and the fact we’re top of that division with 3-4-1 is so funny

Haha so it was late on Xmas day and I was smoking up with my old housemates and they had a football game on so I was like “hey I should support a team!” and began to look for one to pick. I wanted to get one that none of them supported or had a specific rivalry with (Bears/Lions/Steelers/Seahawks) and one that none of my other friends supported either (Falcons/Texans/Packers) and I think of the choices I had left I went for Eagles because of Always Sunny. At the time they told me “oh yeah, they’ve been doing well. they have this great new quarterback but he just got injured so they might not have a chance in the playoffs though” which I was fine with!

and then they won the super bowl like six weeks later lmao

Eagles are always fun. Good pick!

The Steelers, Patriots, and Green Bay are usually really good, but also pretty boring. I like teams that have a revolving identity (and underdog status), so Eagles usually fit there.

I'd say that with any sport, you just kinda choose like you did. Almost randomly. Just having "a team," even if the selection was arbitrary, is the most important part to enjoying a sport.
