Is there any way to select two objects at once?

Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, but is there any way to move two objects at once in 3DMM? Possibly with a patch? I'm making a movie with a skateboard and it's really annoying to move the skateboard and actor manually each frame. I guess making a new model which is just the actor on the skateboard could also work, but I don't know how to do that.

Put effort into it, it's not annoying, it's just patience.
