Windows XP VS. Windows 7

I need to know which VM is best for me, i will compare it.

Windows XP:
Cannot change the volume of a MIDI file or a default track, only changing the SW Synth in the volume mixers works.

Windows 7:
Has the ability to change MIDI volume.
Internet searches may be faster.

I remember being able to run 3DMM on a Windows 7, i used to use 3DMM on Windows 10 but i got a error not known by other people that tells you that you do not have a multimedia driver called "Microsoft Audio Compression Manager", that happened when i tried to remove OGG Vorbis.

I know I've used 3dmm on win7 and win10 without much of an issue.
I believe there is an issue where winxp plays 3dmm movies at 6fps and win7+ plays them at 6.6fps. So some of the older movies may not sync up perfectly, but I think there's been a fix for that tbh.

It makes me so happy seeing 3dmm get a new life. Seriously, so cool seeing new active members asking questions about the program.

If you use this link then you shouldn't need to mount an .iso and it should install good on modern versions of windows.

I have WinCDEmu which can permanently mount ISO files.
That was an old screenshot, i now use WinCDEmu for the ISO file and i decided to stick to Windows 7.

It might be easier to use the modern installer. You get the added benefits of the doraemon and nickelodeon expansions included !

Windows XP is the greatest operating system ever made, period.

Every operating system since then has been worse. Operating systems can only be "good" insofar as they resemble Windows XP. The more closely they resemble XP, the better they are.
