Microsoft 3D Movie Maker 25th Anniversary

Well folks, it's here at last!

Microsoft 3D Movie Maker
25th Anniversary
1995-2020

So let's begin, shall we?

In 1995, Microsoft Home released a CD-ROM game for the Microsoft Kids series entitled, 3D Movie Maker. This game features McZee voiced by Michael Shapiro as he shows you how to make 3D movies like adding scenes, actors, props, 3D words, and more. You change expressions of actors or props, and make some actions. It's a great game for ages 8 and up. However, there were several expansions for 3D Movie Maker including the Doraemon Expansion Pack which only exists in Japan, and in 1996, the last 3DMM game was Nickelodeon 3D Movie Maker with all the characters from Aaaahhh!! Real Monsters, Ren & Stimpy, and Rocko's Modern Life. It features Stick Stickly from Nick in the Afternoon who helps to created movies by using the movie making machine or the choose-o-meter which is much similar to the Splot Machine from the 3DMM game. In 2004, Travis Wells created a program to install expansions, models, and everything which is called, "Virtual 3D Movie Maker", aka "V3Dmm" for short. The 3DMM forums is still alive today, and we are now celebrating 25 years of the 1995 Microsoft CD-ROM, 3D Movie Maker.

So to enjoy the celebration and to enjoy making awesome 3D movies, here's a list of people who are invited to join the celebration:
Toonsville (Jack Deakin)
PatryktheCoolKid
InkNimations
Ruborg
Marshell
Evil Ash

So what kind of things do you like doing on the 3D Movie Maker games as a kid?
What movies do you make?
What's your favourite character on 3DMM or Nick 3DMM?
And do you like/not like 3D Movie Maker very much?

Now where's Toonsville? I hope he's invited to join us to celebrate 25 years of the 3DMM game.

Nice to see you, Patryk. By the way, what kind of things would you like to do to celebrate 3D Movie Maker's 25th Anniversary? Any ideas of your own?

I grew up with the UK version when it was originally released. I recently brought a copy of the UK one on disc, and I sent the files to @Jayrod who mentioned possibly adding it as an option to the modern installer in the future.

There are some differences in the app code too, so things like the Open3DMM project is not compatible with it right now.

"It's a Rat" and "Wait up Wanda" sounds way funnier in the UK version...
