Stickied movies are really unfair because the community doesn't vote on what movies are stickied. A mod decides it, so the showcase doesn't really represent the whole community. I for one would like to see the noobies' movies showcased.

Anyone else think movies should only be stickied for like a week or so?

Totally, was watching a movie that got like 4 star reviews that would have deserved 5 stars today.

yeah I actually just watched a 4.6 rated movie last night and thought to myself "this would easily get a 4.8 today"

i don't know, 'pinion' is middling at around 3.98 right now (i mean, roughly. i didn't add up and divide the stars yet) and i feel like even if you take about 0.2 off the average score of the average movie each year starting in 2007 with of course a 0.3 bump in 2009 because of the economy you still end up with keiran having seven apples. which sucks because brenda *said* she wanted eight right from the start. so basically, like, fuck keiran. what the hell is his problem? how is he even going to eat seven apples, he's about four years old! or 3.8 on 2007 time.

we used to review films more critically with direction, animation, scenery etc but now we mostly care more about the humour these days, which is why most films these days aren't massive projects and efforts.

which is the case. i'm not saying everything being made is a more minimal effort, just a vast majority. i'm aware there are still some big projects slowly being made out there. least i hope there are, i'd be disappointed if omnus or marko polo's star wars movie never saw the light of day. some of you already know i have one last serious project up my sleeve (which if all goes to plan should be released within the next 2-3 weeks)

not hurling insults for the sake of being mean this is really how you come off to me here

I think you're wrong, I think I'm exactly that way on facebook.

I'm also not sure what you mean about me being a gimmick, you'll have to give me an example.
