the house we just moved into came with a cat because the old renters seemingly just left it here. at first we all thought he was pretty cool but now the little bastard just demands food at all hours of the day, he vocalizes in such an annoying "fuck you, im hungry" kind of way that I can't help but resent him sometimes. there's no way to punish him/dissuade him from doing it. he has no empathy or guilt whatsoever. I've tried spray bottles but he actually likes water and throwing him outside offers only a temporary solution as he squirms his way back into the house one way or another. I'm never adopting a cat again, i'd get a kitten though.

a well trained dog will not stare at you while eating or beg for food. ive never had the self discipline to train a dog that well but it comes down to just never giving the dog treats/scraps of your food, especially at the dinner table/wherever you usually eat. if you can always keep a distinction between the dogs food and your food then it'll never have a reason to beg.

every day this guy wakes me up, it's like having an alarm clock living above me. today i was awoken by the sound of him screaming and punching his bedroom wall. it's in these incidents where i shout through my ceiling that he fucking sucks at video games and tell him to shut up. the only response i ever hear is him stamping and calling me a cunt. so neighborly.
edit: just read your other posts, sounds rough man. Thought it was just about one person. Sorry to hear bout your housing situation. I lived on campus for uni so we were in a nice bubble. At least it's only for another month though. Are you friends with any other neighbours?

my mom's facebook profile is named after her dog + all the pictures (including the profile picture) are pictures of the dog.

i don't have the heart to tell her that it brings great shame to our family and that i've considered seppuku
