how come most of you guys bought relatively cool albums as your first?

mine was hanson's middle of nowhere. i was, of course, eleven. i spent my grandma's birthday money on that piece of shit.

i could TRY to listen to it, but i know i wouldn't get through the first song without seriously testing my patience. i don't think i ever listened to the whole thing more than once.

Well, I think the next few albums I bought afterward were like Nsync and Backstreet Boys and stuff, so it was just luck that my first one was cool.

I bet Pizza The Hut will give away his first bought CD to some poor people for Christmas and remaster the album on his comp as an MP3 album!

Yeah, to be fair, the three I listed were the first three albums I remember seeking out and buying (albeit for a buck each). I definitely had Backstreet Boys albums before then, I'm just not sure if I was the one who bought them or not. If that is the case though, like, I still listen to Black And Blue on the regular.

So, who here knows anybody whos first album they bought went out of print? Because I heard about an out-of-print soundtrack album that has revived availability as a free MP3 album.

You guessed it! There's a record label from Nunica, MI that hosts downloads of free MP3 albums, and they just happened to revive an out-of-print product!
