Warren Wagner and I doing a monthly intoxicated movie review show...

People on my facebook have seen this, but those of you who are not, here we go...

Remember Ching and Mosher at the movies from almost a decade back? Damn time has flown by really fast.

Now there's Ching and Wagner Saw Some Movies, which is a monthly movie review show on youtube. We take the Siskel and Ebert concept of two critics reviewing/arguing movies, but with a little added twist that I smoke a big joint, Warren gets really drunk, and then the intoxicated film criticism begins. I'd describe it as maybe Siskel and Ebert meets Beavis and Butthead, and it's shot at Qaz's awesome cinematic apartment.

It comes out at the end of each month, and so far we've done two episodes. Please check em out if you have time.

The last episode we released was the halloween special. I've split the show up into clips so that you can just click on whichever movie review you want to see. Please make sure you watch the Intro to the haunting immaturity though...it's worth it for Warren's Halloween costume alone:

If you want more, then here's the link to episode 1:

I hope you guys enjoy it, and any suggestions, criticisms would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks man! We even pretty much copied one joke from Ching and Mosher into the halloween episode of Ching and Wagner. And yeah, The Masters fuckin ruled!

I gave a thanks to Cliff Mosher at the end of the Halloween episode. I hope he eventually gets around to seeing it. Haven't heard from him in a while.

Wtf is "The Masters"? Is that a movie? Are you referring to "The Master", starring Philip Seymour Hoffman? (which I thought was pretty shit, btw.)

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the movie either. Phoenix and Hoffman were good, the cinematography was good...but when the movie ended I was scratching my head wondering what the fuck the point of the movie was.

I left with such an empty feeling. Like...nothing happened in that movie at all!

Saw the first 10 min of the first episode. I like these kinds of shows, like red letter media half in the bag. Jeff Ching is hilarious to watch. Other dude is very annoying. It's annoying to be around drunk people when your not drunk. Don't get so drunk.

I think you guys need to watch the movies with the idea that you'll be critiquing them afterwards. Tuck ideas in the back of your head, like specific segments of the movie that illustrate your points, because several times you make statements about the movie, with no backup. I enjoyed watching it, it's entertaining.

Long overdue reply, but thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately episode 1 was shot way later than we had hoped. I think it had been even 2 months after we saw at least 2 of the movies. It was supposed to be shot before I went to Bangkok, but it didn't happen, I got back from Bangkok pretty sick and jetlagged, so we waited another 2 weeks before we finally shot it. That type of delay won't happen again.

And yes, I keep telling myself that I should go home after each movie and type out a bunch of point form notes to try to remember for the reviews, but I've been too lazy to do that.

Please check out episode 2 if you have the chance. It's better film criticism, and not as much drunken immaturity as episode 1.
