My new short film

I already posted the "Bad Robots" trailer here before but I finally got around to finishing the entire film last night. It's about a robot invasion and sort of fits into the 2012 apocalyptic theme. So yeah, tell me what you think. Constructive criticism is encouraged!

lol, not bad at all. i didn't know you were a film maker.

The first woods sequence was way too dark. And there should have been more graphic violence, and action/suspense scenes. Extremely corny script, but it works, and I laughed a number of times.

nice!

Really shitty. Some of the ugliest hicks for actors I've ever seen. Is that white girl a dude wearing a wig? An Ebay joke, really? Not funny, not suspenseful, not creative at all. Is this for film school? This is such a fucking pile of shit.

I dig it. That was a fun watch. I'd say its weak point was the acting, although I understand having limited choices on the low budget end.

Haha a friend of mine warned me about this while I was still editing. I did "day for night" shooting and had a really tough time getting the right balance to where it wasn't too bright or dark. Next time, I think I'll actually shoot at night.

She's actually a girl I casted off of craigslist and she had darker hair in her pics so I was kind of surprised when she showed up for the shoot like that. That reflective white-blonde color didn't cooperate with the green screen and made my editing work a living hell. It was my fault for not inquiring about it first though.

Agreed, I'm def gonna focus more on acting and storytelling for my next project and use little to no cgi.
