Ok so I'm thinking of buying CS6 since there's a student/teacher discount of $20/month for 12 months on it for like two more days. I mainly need it for photoshop but I'd like to have everything else too. my hard drive recently crashed and i got a new one so i don't have any of my old programs.

the thing is that I'm not a student/teacher anymore. should I get someone else who's a student and register it to their name? would someone here like to let me do that? or does it even matter? it says in the contract that they can contact the school at any time to verify and they'll terminate you if they find out you lied. but I wonder if they really will.

yeah. what do you think, 3dmm?

Hey, I don't know anything about what they 'usually' do or even what they intend to do, but my version of Illustrator 9.0 was purchased as a student edition. Still running strong; I would not worry at all. Heck, if they catch you going half-legit with the program, it's probably not hard to get the non-legit version.
