What's the URL format for searches?

Like what URL would I have to input to search for posts containing a certain word? Or for posts by a certain user? I used to have Chrome custom searches set up for this but I had to reinstall it and now I can't find this info any more

I don't know. You'll need to find someone willing to dig through the HTML and get the names of the request parameters that the search form uses.
