So why is Nick Maund such a success?

I think last time I checked the forums there was something about Tony Teulen being in Australian Big Brother or something like that? Or am I remembering that completely wrong?

haha yes, Tony tried out for Big Brother but wasn't selected. I think he even bought ads on facebook to try to get himself on.

As for Nick Maund, he made a thread claiming to own a nightclub and also a toy modeling business or something like that and he sounded full of shit. Sort of like how he claimed to be a hacker when he first joined the community. I think the thread is archived.

Love how we all used to pretend we weren't actually 12 year old loner geeks. Some people came up with the most ridiculous lies to try and prove how cool their lives were. I remember when Jason Ruiz posted a photo, claiming it was a picture someone took of him playing bass on stage with his band at a gig in LA...in reality, it was a photo of Mark Hoppus from Blink 182. Proof that even the best of us do it.

Luckily, geeks tend to go on to be very successful later in life.
