Blue cheese dressing is a popular salad dressing and dip in the United States. It is usually made of some combination of mayonnaise, sour cream, yogurt, blue cheese, milk, vinegar, onion powder, and garlic powder. There is a blue cheese vinaigrette that consists of salad oil, blue cheese, vinegar, and sometimes seasonings. There is also a Midwestern US version that consists of blue cheese crumbles in a California style French dressing.

Ranch dressing is a condiment made of some combination of buttermilk, salt, garlic, onion, herbs (commonly chives, parsley, and dill), and spices (commonly black pepper, paprika, and ground mustard seed), mixed into a sauce. Sour cream is also frequently used, and some home cooks may substitute yogurt for the sour cream to create a lower fat version.

Thousand Island dressing is a salad dressing and condiment, a variant of remoulade and Russian dressing. Its base commonly contains mayonnaise and can include olive oil, lemon juice, orange juice, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, vinegar, cream, chili sauce, tomato puree, ketchup, or Tabasco sauce.

It can also include finely chopped ingredients, like pickles and onions and shit. I never liked it except on Big Macs, no ketchup in there. It consists of store-bought mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish and yellow mustard whisked together with vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder and paprika. I hate relish and mayo and ketchup though.

Southwest Ranch is good on toasted subs. Ranch and Croutons on salad. Carrots and Tomatoes also go well. Unfortunately, leafy dark green salad tastes gross to me. If it's not crunchy I don't want it.
