It's because of the redirect I added for the music frame at the bottom. This is what allows the music to continue playing between page requests. The problem is that it doesn't know the difference between you opening the site for the first time and opening a page in a new tab. It applies the redirect to both actions. I'd work on a fix, but Halloween is going to be over shortly, so I'm not going to bother at this point.
