Who is your favourite singer/vocalist?
 

So I gained some interest in really training my voice as a singer due to doing a few live performances recently and as a bit of a newbie to the whole thing it's made me realize more than ever how challenging it can really be to learn certain techniques like a hard rock sorta scream like Jim Morrison or something without going out of tune or whatever.

With this in mind I'm curious who some of your personal favourite singers are, this is mostly regarding skill or range and not necessarily in showmanship, the whole band etc.

My personal favourite is easily Mike Patton, the dude is a fucking monster with his voice, easily one of the most diverse and underrated vocalists ever.

Honorable mentions would have to go to Freddie Mercury and Layne Staley, how about you fellas?

A7X's M Shadows. And David Draiman from Disturbed. Not many singers give me goosebumps, especially live.
