this is my very first mod so don't expect fancy shit

Looks decent, although I'd prefer if you would give the mod a title that's a little more, uh, professional I guess is the word I would use.

In actuality, I think we need more usage of the word "janky" in mod releases.
"Janky" is such a quality adjective. Let's not scare away excellence in vocabulary! |
Good modelling work, but it seems really high poly for 3DMM.

The problem with high poly models is that you get really hard diminishing returns with the low resolution rendering. The poly count on this one is low enough where it shouldn't cause problems, but the higher they go, they higher the chance it has of crashing when close to the camera. Try to keep the poly count low by using simple shapes like cubes and pentagons to build your model

Ignore Fry, your model has under 2k polys. 3DMM can handle up to 10k and more (sometimes). Crashing usually happens around 10k. Your model's normals are a little janky however.
The textures seem to be the main issue, high res. Could do with using a lower resolution and less detail, otherwise you get a grainy aesthetic which gets worse the further the model is from the camera. Great work for a first 3d model though! Edit: I stand corrected. BMDLs have a hard limit of up to about 10k but if you spread polys out over several BMDLs, you can have models with 40k+ polys for example. |

It's caused by the complete lack of texture filtering. Lower resolution textures would solve that. :)
