Redux being several tiers below The Blue Shell Incident is pretty harsh.

The purpose of these icebergs is to show more-and-more increasingly obscure and unsettling things as you get deeper along the iceberg. I.e. the iceberg for youtube shows stupid kids videos' relatively high-up, and things like dirtbag102 further down.

This (sort of?) envisions that, but it's still awful.
