3D Pixel Art.
I was making pixel-art for a project and I had to do a little bit of something that isn't possible with 2D (For amateurs like me.) I then decided on using 3D animation.
To start, I made this little model in Anim8or (late 90's modeling program) and traced it. ![]() And here is the result. ![]() It doesn't resemble the model but it is 3D at least. |
I suggest using a pixel art shader in Blender. I experimented with this back in the day, and I think it worked out pretty well. Although I don't know if this particular script works anymore.

It will actually work for me.

If you want to make 3d-looking Pixel Art, try experimenting with Isometric Grids. They make it easier to build the dimensions you want.

it looks like a fat gray lady’s dismembered torso minus the nipples and belly button

![]() The Super Bazooka from a first-person perspective. |
Should add shading to it.

![]() Here's the model, note the reused quake mesh. |

Hmm, as it's Pixel Art, I'd also recommend working in a smaller res.
