there needs to be a new, active super mod added NOW
 

i dont care who, but there is now literal advertising beginning to be posted in the 3dmm showcase, as well as the obvious spamming in recent times. if this site is to continue, i believe an active super moderator needs to be appointed ASAP

i personally vote old rivers based on age / maturity / activeness

I veto Old Rivers as mod. If it’s a mod it has to be someone neutral to the Cosmic Café Community. We already have too many hostile liberal mods. In fact I would ask that some of these inactive mods (basically everybody but Goro) step down when the new ones are appointed.

i am politically neutral and would be able to make sure to pop in each day in case of a request if i have to be the guy to step forward

Rivers makes sense as a mod to me. He’s active and in the actual 3dmm sections of the site a lot, which are the only parts that really need moderation. The only issue I can see is do we want the Phil/Rivers family becoming a 3dmm dynasty like the Bushes or Clintons??????

I mean, YEAH, we need some desperate help in 3DMM releases, but what about mod approvals? Sure they're not as important, but if we don't tend to them then everybody is gonna be mad at how long it's taking.

But yeah, as a banning-moderator I could see Old Rivers up there. He's active and has a good sense of who to ban.

Being only a regular moderator means you can't ban, and bans are what we NEED right now because Phil Williamson is floating around the cosmos.

Because super mods get to access Cosmic Café and I can’t remove them. I didn’t realize regular mods couldn’t ban.

I dunno. I asked Goat to remove the Supermods from being able to see CC if I don't have them whitelisted but he just ignored me. Goat hasn't replied to a PM of mine in a long time so good luck reaching him.

I would be fine with Plopilpy being super mod since he's already in CC and he contributes quite a bit to 3dmm by ripping movies to YouTube, although I donno how good of an idea that would be or if he wants to do it.

Basically my ideal solution would be for Goat to finally make it so Super Mods don't have mod powers in CC, and then you guys can go ahead and super mod whoever the fuck and I dont care, but failing that, I guess any CC regular who hasn't turned into a nazi or a Bown Cuckcat (which is basically nobody whos active)
