3dmmfiles links are broken for everyone else
A lot of mod threads are being bumped because "the link is broken", despite the fact that I can download it just fine. It's always the same job of re-explaining that if it's broken, just save the linked content by right clicking.
It's nice that I can explain how to fix it, but why is it broken for others in the first place? |
probs some weird google chrome / other random browser update throughout the years as the internet has progressed
|
It's because it's redirecting to a HTTP file resource from a HTTPS page. Looks like Chrome has started blocking that recently. Still works okay in Firefox and Edge. I'll have to look into enabling HTTPS on the 3dmmfiles.com domain, I guess.

Hiya Goat!
Edge is Chromium based now, I dunno why it doesn't work on Chrome specifically. Also you might wanna check your PMs. I'm gonna send you one in a minute or so. |
I'm well aware Edge is based on chromium now. I switched to it as my daily driver when Microsoft made the change over. It tends to lag slightly behind in feature updates to the underlying chromium code base, as those are always rolled out to Google Chrome first. I expect all chromium based browsers will have this problem soon though.

bold move in front of the boss.

This is why we all must switch to Firefox, it's the last NON-Chrome browser :(
Or switch to Microsoft Edge |
This should be fixed now.
|
Thanks, Goat!
