Sorry it took me so long to get around to this.
ANYWAY, this was good! This is the kind of thing I'd like to see more people making. It had a proper story (as opposed to these god awful "reference" movies that new members seem to love making these days) and it moved forward naturally and at a good, brisk pace. Despite being mostly default scenery, you were able to make the environments look more distinct and original with the water/weather effects - which were usually simple, but well done. You definitely did a solid job of showing the havoc that was being wreaked by the flooding. This was aided by the well-placed sound effects, as well as the fast speed of the movie. Scenes like that of the telephone pole being knocked down as well as Ren and Stimpy's car crashing are good examples of this. The humor was pretty good and definitely well spread out. I'm glad you didn't try to cram in as many jokes as possible. I enjoyed the scene of the "lecture" being disrupted, as well as some of the dialogue at the end ( You traumatized one of your fans by doing a villainous deed! being an example). I also chuckled at the entrance of Bongo, still managing to maintain law and order on his police car-turned-boat. My only gripe is that I thought the ending with "the script" was a little lame. I bet you could have come up with a more creative resolution.
I think more people should take note of this movie. I would especially recommend new users who aren't very good at the program to check it out. It isn't a masterpiece - and it probably didn't take very long to make - but it tells a proper (albeit simple) story, and does so in an engaging way with some neat (and again, simple) visual effects that do a lot to elevate it above the kind of stuff that typically gets released these days. I wish more newbies would focus on making movies like this, rather than pointless low-effort animations, shitty references to dumb memes, remakes of old commercials, or the other unoriginal garbage that clogs up the release section.
tl dr: Good job, Wileyvision!
