The unnamed explorer goes home, not knowing he is being followed! Now he must battle with "The Things"!

I am open to any and all criticism! :D

Note: Some mods I have included in the v3DMM file may not appear in the movie and just excess, I wanted to be sure I had everything so there may be some extra stuff that could up the file size.

Haha, I was expecting far worse, but I was pleasantly impressed.

Now I wound up watching these backwards (I watched this, then immediately watched the first movie before this one), because I didn't see that one before. I'll leave a review on that one too.

This reminds me a bit of myself when I started experimenting with custom scenery, and it shows that you put in quite a bit of effort here. I chuckled at the shot where he casually slides from behind the bed. The music fits the quirky atmosphere very well (stick to wav. files though, the MIDI music stands out poorly), and the sounds work really well too. I found the ending interesting too, where the guy just lets the creature go. I don't think mercy is presented often in these pointless action movies, and I find it fascinating to present that sort of character.

I will say though that this pales in comparison to the first movie though. Your choice to not add dialogue is fine, but I struggled to understand what was going on (even when I rewatched it after watching the first one). You could also have used the door prop to animate the man opening the door, walking into the house, and covering the fixed door onto the house/room prop with a black square. Taking the "walk to door, then clicking out of existence" route tarnishes the effort that was made. Polish is also important. When you see a part in a scene that appears rough, like when the creatures are walking backwards, and they're shifting around, you want to clean that up so it looks less choppy.

Overall, it was a pleasant amount of time spent. You have shown far more potential then some of these other kids on the board. I am actually interested to see more.

Thanks! It was going to be a lot different than what it came out to be (a lot more silly and less serious; the intro is a remnant of this original idea.)

I never even knew that door mod existed, ngl. Would've made it look a lot better, too.

I reused the dialogue from the first movie, too, and I get where you got confused. It was supposed to be where the creature would beg for mercy, but it didn't really come off that way. Other things like the creatures shifting around when walking backwards I didn't really want to fix because, A: Like the first one, it was getting late and B: I thought if I changed it, it would get messed up and that was too much work for me to handle that late (3DMM has a habit of not working; during the intro the footsteps would repeatedly loop when the man got off screen on every frame until I fixed it.)

While I do not plan on making a threequel (unless I get a really good idea), I thank you for the criticism. I will take it into account once I make another movie. :D
