My son has been teaching me things about Minecraft that I have no idea about. He turns 5 next month

I feel so fuckin old and tired today

I listened to a top 50 chart playlist on spotify and I didn't know any of the songs and they all made me super mad

Ya I'm not big on the whole pop-edm sound with the edgy female vocalist trend in mainstream music right now. I've been able to put up with cheesy pop music in the past but this stuff really isn't doing it for me.

my mom asked me a while back if I still bothered to seek out new music at all, or if I'd gotten to the point where I just listened to stuff from my own youth and before. and I realized...fuck

I still find new music sometimes but I hate everything you g people listen to

I had to explain to a younger co-worker what a floppy disk is.

My knees hurt, my back hurts, and going out on a weekend sounds annoying but staying in and watching Queer Eye sounds like the bomb.

Several of my co-workers had never heard of Chris Farley. That hurt. All of us who knew who he was felt old that day

I was just thinking the other day about how crazy it is that kids nowadays probably don't know who Chris Farley is.

There isn't even a comedian around nowadays who comes close to being as likable as Farley.

not even kids. The oldest co-worker is 25! and he's cool and likable too. Ugh. Like c'mon man we're not that old.

Simon Pegg plays a dad to an adult man in The Boys. I don't know why, but that made me feel old as fuck.

Oh I'm not worried about being old at all, I'm actually really looking forward to being a grizzled badass/silver fox. I've felt about 40 since I was about 24 so i think my whole life will make more sense once my body catches up with my brain.

Anyway though, I seriously have been feeling reaaally old this week. It's been a combination of lack of sleep, getting back into lifting, and some tough days at work. I just feel so stiff and sore every day, it's so hard to wake up in the mornings, and I'm just constantly tired and slightly out-of-it/grump. Getting old!!!!! Is Crazy!!!

This is the most old man thing I have ever seen

I actually feel really good physically in my early 30's. Just go on as many runs as you can and you'll retain that youth somewhat. But... I feel more old from getting locked into a comfortable routine. The corporate job life is quite comfortable once you get into the swing of it. I have way flexible hours. But I want to do more than that. I have all these ideas for personal projects, but I have kept getting defeated by either them fizzling out, not getting enough support, or just generally maybe losing hope that anything will turn into something to make my own business.

Oh, I have a much more old man thing to be seen.
