there's no need to release separate censored versions of your movies, please don't. I'm curious why removing the blood made this the "US edit" though

Because the United States version looks different to the original British and European version, the scene got edited from the blood got removed in the United States version, but the blood was kept in the original European version.

The key word there was "why."

I mean that would sort of make sense if he were removing nudity or something but it's "no blood" and it's not like the US is more squeamish about blood/violence than Europe is. if anything I think it might be the opposite
