Skullptor's Action Bits & Pieces

Jesterfoot 08-04-2014 01:03 AM

Amazing work!! Lots of great shots and stylistic shootout scenes, are you still making movies?

Harrison 08-04-2014 01:17 AM

Thanks man yeah I'm working on one or two at the moment

Dustin Guest 08-04-2014 02:04 AM

Dude. Are you fucking kidding me? How have you never released any of this?! This is outstanding!

Broken Pencil 08-04-2014 02:20 AM

Agreed. How could you have NOT release any movies from 2008 onward (or any time in this case)? Anyways, These are amazing. Taking notes of these.
The reflection on the second is fantastic!

Harrison 08-04-2014 03:08 AM

Thanks for the comments dudes. Yeah haven't released anything ever except one movie on Dragon Films back in '04. Watched it again today; it was pretty fun little movie overall but SO cheesy compared to what I've made in the past few years.

Broken Pencil 08-04-2014 03:15 AM

What's it called?

Harrison 08-04-2014 03:18 AM

Resident Evil:Final Chapter. Because I didn't release any of the previous chapters. I've made a habit of that haha

Ben Rice 08-04-2014 01:26 PM

wow man these are seriously great, some of the coolest action set pieces i've seen in 3dmm. taking into account this is old material i'm seriously looking forward to your future projects!

how long exactly have you been using 3dmm?

Harrison 08-04-2014 02:29 PM

Quite some time, I played the demo back in '97

Jt Copper 08-05-2014 03:23 PM

Haha Skullptor is like, the best newcomer since Eukos.

Old Rivers 08-05-2014 06:01 PM

shut up

Harrison 08-05-2014 11:41 PM

So honestly guys, should I keep releasing stuff or is this section pretty much done for at this point? As in, does 90% of 3dmm.com even care anymore?

Broken Pencil 08-05-2014 11:57 PM

Oh, I'm sure the community (including me) wants great quality movies BADLY.

EDIT: Also, the hell is project anarchy?? It looks amazing.

Dustin Guest 08-06-2014 12:35 AM

It's a small segment who still make and watch movies, it's true. But those of us who do are still passionate about it and it would be awesome to see something of your caliber again. I say go for it, if it's still fun for you man. I'm still working on a couple things.

Ben Rice 08-06-2014 12:44 AM

3dmm movie standards have dramatically dropped in the past six or seven years, though it doesn't mean your hard work won't go unappreciated.

Harrison 08-06-2014 12:44 AM

That's cool. I've got several projects in the works.

OmniromX 08-07-2014 04:57 PM

The chase scene was very suspenseful, especially at the end. The over the shoulder perspectives in the last clip are cool.

Jt Copper 08-11-2014 01:45 PM

So I finally got the time to watch this. All of them are just amazing, the battle scenes, the textures, the background. All of it stunningly beautiful. The only thing I really had to nitpick with was that I noticed that the protagonist in every scene was patrick, why is that? A bit more variety in the character department would be cool, but like I said I am just nit-picking.

Seriously amazing dude, cant wait to see more awesome stuff from you. :)

Dustin Guest 08-11-2014 01:50 PM

lol 3dmm doesn't really give you much to work with for action heroes or anywhere near realistic proportions. There's a reason every character I create is based on Patrick.

Harrison 08-11-2014 01:55 PM

What Dustin said. Also, remember these were all made years apart. I've got other ones using Augustin and Michael and whatnot.

Pirate Balloon 08-17-2014 01:09 AM

Watching this now and i had to stop to mention the 2:38 bit. That really stood out to me and impressed me. The guy (timothy?) running turns to wave his arm which looks quite realistic for 3dmm standards. Did you just put two of em overlapping each other so the other arm is still running? Simple but effective, never seen that before in a 3dmm film.

Yeah only 3 minutes in but if you had of released these as films or short movies they would have been up for awards n shit when that was still a thing.

Harrison 08-17-2014 07:20 AM

Thanks dude, yeah I believe that's how I did that part
