Rules to 3DMM By
 

So, I'm back from hell (i.e, not making 3D movies) and I've returned with my newest movie- "Rules to 3DMM By" created by yours truly. Enjoy, and let me know how you feel about my new movie techniques- I actually managed to suck at making movies MORE this time than I ever did with Cow Movie. I think I just like, lost my creative juices, bro.

These rules look pretty usless.
4/10 Could have improved on animation quite a bit. Though at some points you did use dynamic animation. Try to also make actual sense, unless its a joke movie.
In that case, 5/10 because it was hilarious about how usless these rules wore.

I spotted at least 8 things that a 3DMMer shouldn't do in that video and that was just in the first 10 seconds of the film.

2.5/10: Would not watch again.

Yeah, pretty much exactly what Jt said. The whole thing just fell flat. Bad animation, failed attempts at humor, default scenery...just dull.

I just realized he voted his own movie 100%.


Just for that, I am knocking down my vote.

I just wanted to be nice to him, but heres the truth:
It's horrendous. Even for some guy who just started making movies again, it's still very bad. If your going to make a movie even when you just started again, try to make movies like Marcy the vampire or at home with sam and mike.

"Shitty MODS" could be used in anyway he pleases, no one really said anything about it. Hell, IMO using those kinds of MODS in crowded areas like bustling streets are kind of creative, gives the city some kind of color you know?

And I didn't rate it. My younger brother decided to sit at my computer while I was gone and mess with shit (without my permission). So there's no reason to vote it down because of a slight mistake.

Also, I expect you to at least cut me some slack. I spent a lot of time with this movie and considering the fair bit of time I've had not making movies, it's fair to expect lower quality films.

To an extent, I agree that there were some very shitty parts of the movie. I was not satisfied with any part of it whatsoever and I can see there was a lack of foresight upon the release of this film. However, it was not released upon the basis that it would receive bad ratings; it's still a very funny film in retrospect, and if 95% of the people who are here would pull their heads out of their asses, they would see that.

Do me a favour; instead of bitching at me because my movie is not like every other movie on this website, how about you tell me what you liked about the movie? Maybe then you'll get a cookie.

Seriously, do not speak like that here, that post picked up some bad "Clinton" vibes. I have said this with him, I will say it with you, learn how to take criticism like a fucking mature person. Did you honestly expect us to praise any movie you pump out, it does not work like that here. What we are saying isn't anything personal towards you, its your movie. The animation was crap, the jokes wern't funny, it lacked any proof of effort (I can sense when someone puts real effort into things, this movie may not have been the best, but I enjoyed it because it showed he cared enough to work hard on the movie) and honestly it lacked any form of love because you upfront dissed it. If you want to post shit, at least stand by your shit.

I understand I am being a bit sharp here, but I seriously need to hammer on you because of the egotism of that post. You basically said, "I know it was a shitty movie and I dont care. You all must appreciate it and expect nothing more, so quit being stupid on hating it or else Ill be mad at you". Pathetic.

Now as for your other movies like A Cow Movie I was more forgiving because (at the time) you were the youngest member and it was your first movie so I encouraged you to keep going, but by now you should know that people expect something worth thier time. Watch other great movies like 5DMM or NUTS, anything that holds 5 stars, and earned them. Also, you have proved that you can accept criticism normally, when Evil Ash said:

I will raise my vote though considering you said it wasn't your fault, however I wont untill you move your vote to where you honestly think it should belong. So to conclude, Take critisicm more seriously, put care and effort into your movies, dont post every movie you make (make alot of test movies to practice animation and dont post them, Clinton has this problem and its really bad) and finally dont bitch and moan if the movies you do post get bad feedback.

Accept helpful critisicm, give your movies some effort, dont post all the movies you make and dont complain when things go your way. etc. etc.

you can't call your own movie funny if 95% of the people here respectfully disagree with that. there was one thing about this movie i noticed was an improvement over your previous work and that was simply the frame by frame animation looking a lot smoother. however that doesn't take anything away from the fact that this movie was not really that funny or entertaining. like jt copper said, this could have been made in less than an hour.

also it's really not a wise choice to say we're the ones in the wrong here when it comes to whether your movie is good or not. we know what we like. are you seriously telling us that YOU know better than we do?

Your movie is bad because it just doesn't have anything going for it. None of the "rules" actually provide assistance or help with making movies and are instead really bad jokes that aren't even disguised as legitimate advice. Just because you spent a lot of time on something, it doesn't mean it's gonna be good.

Bullshit, he said he didn't give a shit about any part of the movie he did so I doubt he tried. Anyone, and I mean anyone will care about things they "try" to do.

Though I do get where your going with that so I should shut up now. :x

I don't think it was that bad, guys.

The animation was a bit lazy, and the jokes were pretty flat.
I laughed when Winnie the Pooh ate Steve though, just because of how dumb it was.

The third one wasn't really a rule, and felt really rushed and shit.

I mean overall it just felt like a quick, dumb movie nobody should take seriously. That's why I think it's wierd people bashed it so hard. Like... chill out?
