A Dream From Trooper
 

I was gonna work on it alot longer but I got the chain movie at last, so I am gonna work on that instead. Aside from that though, hope you all enjoy it. ;)

Thread that inspired the idea.

wow man that was really awesome! great use of pink floyd for clinton sneaking around, you did a great job giving it that sort of dream like atmosphere in the opening scenes. your animation is on top form here, this might be your finest work right here, i'll take my hat off to you for how well you animated troopers stormtrooper mod, from my own experience with it it's a right pain in the ass to animate so well done on that front, love the shot of him kick jumping clinton to reach the ladder. the pacing was perfect for the actual chase sequence, good work with the use of effects, loved the ending.

i liked this. the angles were well done, although did use those pre-made scene props for everything, but whatever for something like this i don't think it matters. the sounds were especially well chosen, particularly the bicycle bell at the end, that made me laugh a lot. felt like there was some missed potential with the bike, it could have been more "clintonized" (stereo, car headlights etc.) and it wasn't used much. the picture on the bedside table at the end made me laugh a ton, good job with that!

well done. i did think it was a little strange that you thanked me at the end for pointing out a problem that you didn't fix, but whatever.

the use of mate in that sentece feels very forced

will watch this tomorrow when my internet is fixed and can actually load videos, sounds good

not exactly, they just get very repetitive. you just released the train station, so that setting is still pretty fresh, but the cityscape for example, is in like every other movie that gets released now. i'd much rather see some original hand-made work, even if it sucks.

If this ends with me actually getting raped I will be disappointed.

Edit: This was way more exciting than the dream. Good job man. I know from personal experience that animating with that Stormtrooper is a bitch. Also, pretty weird that you put that group photo by my bed. I made a Tom Breed Challenge movie once that started off in my bedroom and I did exactly the same thing.

Edit2: Haha, never even noticed that Ben said exactly the same thing about the Stormtrooper. But yeah, point still stands.

Anyway it's also about 4 minutes too long for a 3dmm joke movie so

Fun little movie! Like everyone says you've clearly progressed quite a lot recently. The best thing about this for me was probably how indecipherable the humour would be for anyone outside the community.
