it wasn't really good but it wasn't terrible either. you've definitely improved a bit in such a short amount of time. try and get a better microphone or try and improve the quality of your voice clips. keep trying, you're getting better.

Than the feed back. :D
I have to use the Amplify effect in Audacity

Broken Pencil 10-27-2013 12:16 PM

This literally took Hours to make. Just... Wow. Amazing, Right?

Jt Copper 10-27-2013 12:34 PM

Hahah, I loved this shit man. I know you were trying to make it a more serious movie but I loled the shit out of this dialogue, young comedy is great because they have no clue how funny this is. All jokes aside though, you did an amazing job, especially for your age, man. It was a bit slow at times, whenever they tryed walking somewheres, thats all they did, there was nothing to distract the fact that they are just walking, snore. Also I couldn't really tell any of these actors apart from thier voices at times, mainly only you were working on the voices. In conclusion though, this movie does prove you tried, keep getting better man your sure as hell pumping out better movies then I was at your age. ;)

:) I wasn't heading for comedy, But more seriousness. Believe or not, this started out as a test for 3DMM Animation pro. But as I progressed, I decided to make it an... AHEM... Movie. And so, I was going to use Speakonia, But I thought about Audacity for a minute. Then, I realised that my voice is Ok for a ten year old. So, now I have THIS mess of sound files. :)

78%. Pretty good for a guy like me.

Jt Copper 10-28-2013 10:27 PM

I have a certain way on how I vote. part of my opinion goes to how well I liked the movie, the other part of my opinion goes to the persons abilites and how the movie compared to his other movies. So yeah, 78% is more then fair I think. :)

haha i hate to burst your bubble but hours is the amount of time some of us have spent on making just one scene in 3dmm. most of the best movies we've released have taken weeks, months, even years to make.

Like big movie 2? :O

Dustin Guest 10-29-2013 04:12 PM

This is a VAST improvement on the stuff you were putting out. Definitely commendable. Keep working and improving, man, you're doing pretty well.

And as for how long it takes...I started work on Omnus in...2006, I think? And I've done rewrites and redone animations to get it to where I want it. To where it is today. I'm not saying you have to do something like that, because, frankly it's something I'm FAR too passionate and perfectionistic about making, but this isn't easy. Making a really good movie doesn't happen in a matter of hours unless the goal is for it to LOOK like you spent a few hours on it. I spent 5 hours one night animating a scene to get it right. You're on the right track, though. Keep improving.

For instance THIS:

That alone took hours, not counting the time it took to model fighters, helmets, retexture characters, transfer to video, do the sound mix, and all that crap. Animation time alone took hours and hours over a few days and it STILL wasn't done.

there are other (and way better) films to watch than big movie 2, you really should watch them. and yes, big movie 2 took five years to be released, but that's because it took 4-5 years for someone else to take over the project and finish it.

it took me three years to finish the at home with mike and sam finale, these things take time

Broken Pencil 10-30-2013 01:04 AM

I watched movies like Chair movie & Powerplay.

Old Rivers 10-30-2013 01:48 AM

:cool

Broken Pencil 10-31-2013 11:47 AM

Ok.. Theres Chair Movie... But wheres Table Movie or Fridge Movie?

Blue Cardboard 10-31-2013 02:52 PM

whoa now slow down
sequels come later

Jt Copper 10-31-2013 09:15 PM

Haha yeah man, every movie you've seen here so far that you really liked you demand a sequal. It doesn't really work like that.

Ben Rice 10-31-2013 10:39 PM

if we ever do a second chair movie we're calling it total refurnish. that title was too awesome to let go to waste

Broken Pencil 11-01-2013 12:13 PM

And you can include a carpenter fixing up a house!

Phil Williamson 11-02-2013 12:23 AM

haha this was really good for a 10-year-old! stop trying to get him to take on an omnus-style project guys, hahaha. anyway yeah good work bud, I eagerly await the sequel. and I lost it at the newspaper seller yelling over them and "Hello ma'am, we are certified police"

Broken Pencil 11-02-2013 03:26 AM

"EXCUSE ME BUT I'M GIVING OUT FREE NEWSPAPERS.FREE NEWSPAPERS."

Dustin Guest 11-02-2013 01:16 PM

Oh, no, don't get me wrong, Phil. I don't want him to go all crazy and do something that takes YEARS to do. You have to have a ridiculous amount of passion for what you're working on for that. Just a project that takes some effort beyond a few hours of work and calling it a day. He's definitely improving.

Broken Pencil 11-02-2013 01:38 PM

"FREE NEWSPAPER FOR 3DMM.COM" That's what he should have said
Also, can somebody post a thread for Medium Sized movie because I don't want to add another thread since it's spamming
