EDIT: IF you would like to try your hand and fixing these up a bit for me, here's the photoshop file containing covers 3,4, and 5. 5 is the owners favorite, so toying with that one would be the most helpful to me.

The first two are still the only decent ones.

Yeah, I did that on purpose.

The original images would not look cool without filters. The red one actually is just a picture of a freshly painted red wall. I just filtered it and added the tree.

I like 3 and 5.
If 4 was a happy face, I might like it, but that sad face doesnt seem like the best thing to put on the cover of a compilation. It just looks too... painful, hah, like it reflects the music inside. But yeah. 3 and 5 are cool, I especially like the darkness of 3, sort of resembles leaves. And thats a cool idea to take a picture with a flash of a red wall, hahah

1 and 2 just feel too... I dunno, easy listening? 1 I think would be a lot cooler if it was darker.

edit: 5 is also cool cause it has this feeling of the music inside being like... monumental and awesome.

3 and 4 are the best, but.. well... maybe you should just consider getting someone to do the cover for you.

Yeah I was commenting mainly on the art itself. I must say I don't like the text at all. It looks cheap.

I still really like #4. That's awesome.

Four definetely is the strongest, but there should be some more work done on that one.

So... instead of doing something purly artistically or purly for the purpose of marketing, you find an imbalance between the two and go with it... Ok.

Dude, its a fucking label compilation CD cover. THE WHOLE GODDAMN ALBUM is marketing. Selling shit is the whole point of this thing, so they want to make it as easy as possible to sell said shit. Hence, a good impression of image, along with easy access to contact info.

either way, i would never take a second look at any of those cd cases simply based on the hideous text plastered all over them. They look like bargain bin cd's
