you're a right fruit. download camstudio from this page, http://3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=17038

once you've downloaded it, open it, set a fixed region and such, like you've done already. go to OPTIONS and look for the sound option, you'll be able to record it through speakers or your microphone, if you're smart, you can do otherwise

Adelitas 02-25-2012 12:12 PM

razor, do yourself a favor dude, watch a few movies, download as many as you want, learn from them. to make a good movie, it takes time, not 20 minutes, default scenes aren't really a good thing to use either. once you've watched a few movies, you'll get what i mean!

Creative use of blending modes I must say
Overall it's pretty professional looking. How long have you been using 3DMM, RazorX?

Put your own script to the story! It makes it rather fun to watch!

I give this movie some credit for trying to be creative with certain scenes(such as the intro sequence) but overall it has too many flaws and I can't even enjoy the video without any audio. It also seems that your screen capture program doesn't like 3D Games that run in 8-bit. Need to use another method for capturing your movies, check this thread: http://www.3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=17038

It's interesting that the compression or whatever it is that is making the backgrounds look so horrible, sort of makes them look grimy and silent hill-esque. It is all kind of dreamlike and surreal, so that fits in a sort of accidental way.

But yeah, you definitely need to watch a few of the more popular movies that have come out, to give you idea of the expectations and standards. Start with the best ones, anything pre-2012 on here: http://www.3dmm.com/movies.php?sort=rating&order=desc. You need to give it a lot more effort. And alternately, if you're worried about filesize, you could always just upload the .vmm files. You probably won't have as many people who can watch them, but at least you'll have sound and at a much smaller upload size.

Considering your age, I'd say start by watching the Videogame Nightmare movies. http://www.3dmm.com/showthread.php?t=17620
